        Watercolors

Tea Time

"Tea Time" is a watercolor that was done in 1988.  Bobbie took some photographs of our pets and various portions of our house in Danvers, MA during a visit the previous year.  She composed the picture later.  The teapot did not reside on top of the microwave and the cat, Didi,  was never so calm.   This scan was done on the framed watercolor and does not do the watercolor justice.  As a curiosity, we wondered what it really would have looked like if we placed Didi  with all of the pictured items.  On the right is a photograph of the results that shows the contrast between the artists vision and the harsh reality (we almost lost the teapot.)
